Windows 365 gives each person their own dedicated Windows desktop - their apps, files and settings - streamed securely to whatever device they pick up. One fixed price per user per month. No capital purchase, no image to rebuild.
Price per user per month, so budgeting is arithmetic rather than forecasting.
vCPU sizes available, from light admin use up to engineering workloads.
Windows, Mac, iPad, Android or a browser - the desktop follows the person.
Unlike shared virtual desktops, a Cloud PC belongs to one person. They sign in, and everything is where they left it - same apps, same shortcuts, same half-finished spreadsheet. Because the desktop runs in Microsoft data centres rather than on the device, a lost laptop is an inconvenience rather than a data breach, and a new starter is productive in minutes instead of days.
Provision a Cloud PC, assign a licence, and the person signs in to a fully configured desktop. No imaging, no courier, no waiting on stock.
Files stay in the cloud. A stolen laptop or a contractor handing back a personal machine takes nothing with it.
A flat monthly price per user rather than consumption billing, which makes it far easier to approve than raw virtual desktop infrastructure.
Give someone a corporate desktop without giving them a corporate laptop, and switch it off the day the engagement ends.
Move a user between Cloud PC sizes when their workload grows, without rebuilding anything.
Windows 365 Enterprise is managed alongside your physical devices in Microsoft Intune, using the same policies and the same console.
Windows 365 Business is designed for smaller organisations up to 300 users who want to buy, deploy and manage Cloud PCs simply. Windows 365 Enterprise integrates with Microsoft Intune for centralised management and has no user cap, but requires qualifying Microsoft 365 licensing.

We do not recommend Windows 365 for everyone. It is outstanding for some situations and unnecessary for others, and we will say so.
Seasonal or project staff who need a desktop for a defined period
Offshore teams and contractors who must not hold company data locally
Staff on personal devices where you cannot mandate a corporate laptop
Regulated work where the desktop must be auditable and contained

Windows 365 is a fixed price per user for a dedicated, persistent desktop, and it is simple to run. Azure Virtual Desktop is consumption-billed, supports multi-session so several people share one machine, and gives you far more control - but it needs real design work and ongoing management. Below roughly 50 users, Windows 365 is usually the better economics and the better experience.
A stable connection matters more than a fast one. Around 5-10 Mbps per user with low latency is comfortable for office work. We test from your actual sites before you commit, because a good demo on the office fibre proves nothing about the branch on rural broadband.
Yes. Local printers, drives, cameras, microphones and most peripherals redirect into the Cloud PC session. Specialist hardware - some scanners, dongles and industrial devices - needs testing first, which we do during the pilot.
They keep working as thin clients, which extends their useful life considerably. A machine too slow to run modern Windows well is perfectly capable of streaming a Cloud PC, so Windows 365 often defers a hardware refresh entirely.
Windows 365 keeps automatic point-in-time restore points, and OneDrive Known Folder Move protects user documents. For anything you would be upset to lose, we add proper backup on top - restore points are a convenience feature, not a backup strategy.
Tell us what you are running today and what is prompting the change. We will come back within one business day with a straight answer about whether this is the right move for you.

Azure Virtual Desktop lets several people share one Windows host, scales down when nobody is working, and publishes individual applications…
